Objective The objective of Pathway Guidance Systems is to provide a taxiing pilot with a consistent, permanent, familiar, and visual taxiway identifier that gives directional information on the pavement.    Pathway Guidance Systems has addressed taxiway and runway incursions and tackled them in a most rudimentary way.     Easily understood markings are placed on the pavement or tarmac to ensure an aircraft will make it to the correct runway safely. This simple system of supplemental taxiway markings will eliminate the occurrence of taxiway incursion, thus saving lives and aircraft. This system works with any other guidance system.     The simple, low tech system of pavement markings requires no power or electronics to operate. Pilots and maintenance personnel can follow the markings to their desired destination directly with no confusion.
